The HP Elite X3 runs on the Snapdragon 820 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space. It also has a large 5.96-inch WQHD AMOLED display, 2K resolution (1440 x 2560 px) and Gorila Glass 4 glass, in bright colors, and the viewing angles of the display are excellent. The built-in 4,150 mAh battery packs peace of mind, even at high load.
At the front of the display are the Iris scanner, proximity and light sensors, and the 8MP front camera. At the bottom, underneath the display, covered with a shiny piece of metal is the nice accent - Bang & Olufsen stereo speakers.
At the back is the main camera, which is 16 megapixels with autofocus, LED flash, HDR mode and panoramic photo. Below the camera is a fingerprint sensor.
As standard, as with many high-end smartphones, the usual things like fast charging and wireless charging are included.
The smartphone comes with several accessories in the Business Kit. These are the Desk Dock, which includes a DisplayPort, two USB-A and one USB-C port, as well as a wired Ethernet port, a headset, a power adapter for the Dock station charger for the device.
In promoting the Elite X3, one of the main features that HP is talking about is the Continuum. The feature allows users to use their phone as a computer by connecting it to an external monitor using the Dock's DisplayPort or wireless connection. Once the devices are connected, users can use an external keyboard and mouse to control the operating system, which provides near-complete functionality on a computer. For example, if you used applications like Edge, Outlook, or Skype on your Windows 10 computer, you would get a similar experience by displaying Continuum from your phone.
