In 2019, Apple expanded its tablets portfolio by adding another jewel to the iPad budget line, namely the 10.2 7th Generation model. How does Apple surprise us this time, how is iPad 7 better and different – we are about that to find out.

The larger screen of iPad 7th generation, which we notice at first glance, makes it slightly taller and wider than its predecessor iPad 6, but the thickness remains the same (7.5 mm), and the weight is about 15 grams more. The design itself remains classic and unchanged.

This model lacks some of the technologies, such as True Tone (automatic colour adjustment and brightness to match ambient lighting), but the display has a 2160x1620 resolution and larger pixel density.

There is also a 3.5 mm audio jack for headphones, which was removed in iPhones as early as iPhone 7 of 2016, Touch ID fingerprint data protection, and Apple Pencil Gen 1 and Smart Keyboard support.
