In 2019, technology giant Apple added to its smartphone line iPhone 11 and the flagships Pro and Pro Max. But what are the differences between these three models, and with which one is worth replacing our old device with?
Features of iPhone 11:
- Apple A13 Bionic – hexa-core processor
- 4 GB RAM
- 64GB, 128GB, 256GB
- 6.1", Liquid Retina IPS, TrueTone display

- Two 12MP ultra-wide and wide cameras and 12MP TrueDepth front camera
iPhone 11 Pro features:
- A13 Bionic – hexa-core processor
- 4 GB RAM
- 64GB, 256GB, 512GB
- 5.8", Super Retina XDR OLED, with TrueTone function
- Colours: Matte Space Gray, Matte Silver, Matte Gold, Matte Midnight Green
- 3 cameras – 12 MP UltraWide, wide, and telephoto and 12MP TrueDepth front camera
11 Pro Max features:
- A13 Bionic – hexa-core processor
- 4 GB RAM
- 64GB, 256GB, 512GB
- 6.5", Super Retina XDR OLED, with TrueTone
- Colours: Matte Space Gray, Matte Silver, Matte Gold, Matte Midnight Green
- 3 rear cameras – 12 MP UltraWide, wide, and telephoto and 12MP TrueDepth front camera
The most obvious difference is in their size. The most affordable of the three smartphones, iPhone 11, has a 6.1 inch Liquid Retina screen, similar to its predecessor XR. The smallest and lightest of them is the Pro model, which weighs 188 grams and has a 5.8 inch display, while the Max version has a 6.5 inch diagonal. Also, the latter are OLED, thanks to which black is darker, colours are more saturated, and the devices are more energy efficient.
In the Pro models, for the first time Apple use a triple-camera system – wide, ultra-wide, and telephoto, which provides a wider field of view, better focus, up to 10X digital zoom, and also have optical stabilisation when taking photos.
To summarize, we can say that with all three above-mentioned models of Apple smartphones, you get the same performance.
