The 8470p is HP's high-end business model with a matte 14.1-inch widescreen display, a third-generation Intel i7-3520M processor, 8GB DDR3, 500GB HDD and an aluminum chassis. Designed to withstand any business travel and home workload.
Extensive security features, handy touchpad, excellent audio, USB 3.0 3.0 port, 14 "matte HD+ screen.
Docking capability and optional battery, TPM security chip for use with Bitlocker encryption and an ExpressCard expansion slot.
Stylish black matte keyboard, beautifully crafted and stable. All this contributes to pleasant and comfortable writing.
At the top of the display is a white LED for keyboard illumination.
The trackpad is among the best, allowing your fingers to drag the tag effortlessly. The right / left button set is located at the top of the touchpad, with the top pair of buttons designed to be used in conjunction with the trackpad located in the middle of the keyboard.
The EliteBook 8470p is professionally designed - metallic upper body and black matt plastic underneath.
HP claims the laptop is designed to meet military standards (MIL-STD-810G to be exact) for vibration, dust, humidity and high temperature.
