A model that combines long battery life with a handy keyboard, rugged case, precise touchpad and powerful performance.
The T460 is a 14-inch business laptop, compact, lightweight and comfortable to wear (weighing 1.73kg). The design is simple and aesthetic, characteristic of the ThinkPad series. The chassis is plastic, reinforced with glass fiber. According to Lenovo, the T460 has passed several MIL-SPEC 810G resistance tests, including those for extreme temperatures, shocks and vibrations.
The model is powered by the sixth-generation Skylake Intel Core i5-6300U processor, 8GB of RAM, and a new generation of Intel® HD Graphics 520 graphics adapter that provides more power in handling different applications. And for even greater speed when recording and reading data, the T460 comes with a 240GB SSD drive.
The ThinkPad T460 also offers security features such as fingerprint reader, Trusted Platform Module, and BIOS / UEFI password protection.
