Used monitor GL2450 satisfactory parameters and picture, at a very good price.
The twenty-four-inch screen comes with a standard size resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Despite the basic TN matrix, the monitor offers good contrast 1000: 1, brightness 250 nits and 2ms gray-to-gray, besed on specifics. Actually measured parameters from tests contrast 949: 1 and brightness 278 nits.
The case does not include premium materials, all-plastic material finished with piano lacquer finish. The stand allows a few degrees of tilt forward or backward, but lacks vertical movement, which can be drastically improved when mounted on a wall.
The refurbished GL2450 has two communication ports - DVI-D and VGA (D-SUB 15). The lack of an HDMI port should not be a problem because an HDMI-DVI adapter can be easily found. The only drawback is that the monitor does not have built-in speakers and an external sound system must be used.
The used Benq GL2450 does not offer parameters and picture like professional monitors, but for a first monitor or for a budget gaming monitor it will do a great job, at a nice price.
